Day 13 & 14

The camp campground at Lake George was a great one.  Lots of space, tall trees, water everywhere.  We were ready for a break so we decided to stay two days and unwind.  We made a trip into town to provision ourselves and had grilled steaks and salad for dinner.  Howard refuses to take a dip in the abundant water.  He always dives into any body of water bigger than a puddle, but I think he's worried about the alligators and water moccasins.  I hope the pictures do the place justice.  It looks like the scene behind the Blue Bayou restaurant at Disneyland.  Tall cypress trees draped with Spanish Moss growing out of the swamp or bayou (whatever it is).  Walking trails a plenty, foot bridges going across the water.  Very picturesque.  Warm weather, pleasant evening temperature.  A little humid, but not as bad as it's going to get. There is a herd of deer walking around, raccoons, turtles, geese, oh, and alligators.
